about

Quake was a collaboration of Hal McGee and Chris Phinney (Mental Anguish). Recorded November 30-December 2, 1990, at Electronic Cottage Headquarters, Apollo Beach, Florida.

Side One contains some crunchy synthesizer-based abstract industrial space music. Side Two contains our first forays into percussion and electroacoustic textures, as well as ambient scapes. Originally released on cassette, C59, on the Harsh Reality Music label (HRM 223), 1990.
