This audio album is the soundtrack of March 2020 Report
youtu.be/5RfL2VENNlI
a 61-minute collage slideshow movie consisting of 1,371 photograph still shots and short video clips, with a multi-layered dictaphone assemblage soundtrack documenting my daily life in Gainesville, Florida, dream diaries, and spoken word explorations. The movie features voices, images, contributions and inspirations (knowing and unknowing) by Stanley The Paperanian, Lumen K, Leslie Singer, Rafael González, family members, co-workers, neighbors, grocery store employees, and fellow passengers on public transportation.
I recorded the audio assemblage materials with Sony ICD-PX470 stereo digital dictaphones from March 1, 2020 through March 31, 2020. On April 2, 2020 I constructed an assemblage of these audio materials and added it to the movie. I then exported all of the audio from the movie, including sounds from the short video clips within the movie. What you hear on this album is the dictaphone assemblage and the audio from the video clips blended together.
For this audio album I have divided the 61-minute soundtrack arbitrarily into two parts for the listener’s convenience.
