Base Apes were originally a straight jazz-thrash band with influences like Megadeth, Slayer, Juggernaut, Judas Priest and Pink Floyd. After they were introduced to the underground scene they started listening to people like the Misfits and Dead Kennedys, and have since created a new hybrid style they call "gore-core"!
