production notes: I used a Stratocaster guitar, Fender jazz bass and a Boss DR-880 (for drums); track recorded on a Tascam NEO
addtnl info: This is an updating of an old blues originally written about Theodore Roosevelt succeeding McKinley as President of the USA. I wanted the recording to sound dated and that was the challenge, the little bottle at the bottom of the high dive, while also giving it an uninhibited flavor. Somehow the subject presented itself to me and seemed appropriate when I thought of daredevil meditations.
