Greg Potter This track is hauntingly beautiful and ominous at the same time. For me, the drones and the particular gamelan sounds chosen perfectly evoke a feeling of lost childhood, with both pleasure and grief entwined in the experience. Your mileage may vary. :) Favorite track: Ketakutan burung.

EC Split 15
by The Bim Prongs and Furchick
an Electronic Cottage release

Furchick’s “Ketakutan burung” is created from Gamelan, a Balinese bird scarer and a wind turbine. “Splitting in two” includes vocals, a drum beat, scissors and Euler’s disk. “Split Hairs” is a reworking of a live performance art piece focussing on body hair at Paper Mountain in Perth, Australia.
