about

"Wormhole Field Guide" is a microcassette duo collaboration by Fiver's Stereo (Jacksonville) and Hal McGee (Gainesville). Jay Peele and Hal McGee each recorded 62 minutes of various instrumental sounds and quotidian sounds. Then, without listening to Peele's tape first, McGee then blended together his and the Fiver's Stereo tape together on a one-to-one basis with no additional effects, in two straight-up improvised collage mixdowns.
